the edge design definitely takes getting used to as some of the screen is accessed only from the side. more prone to screen breaking. I put on a screen protector and the edge has already cracked (less than a week and without known bumping). I even keep screen pointed toward me to avoid accidental bumping. Will probably go through a number of screen protectors just to keep screen safe. Can't stand the new notifications that have perpetual sound/vibration (annoying to have vibration in ear every 30 sec while on phone because you received a text message). But I do enjoy samsung phones and this one has the usual features and look that I enjoy. Well. I've had this phone for I guess 6 months or so now. This phone works pretty good MOST of the time.... -Unless it wants to glitch out and not send/receive calls. -Mine has NEVER worked with multimedia text messages (can't send or receive pictures thru text, any long messages or messages with emojis). I now have to ask everyone to send me any images thru Facebook messenger. And people never remember. -Voice to text worked for the first day i got it, never since then. -Drastic drop in battery life thru the day -Takes crappy, face warped front camera pictures. The good: -Great back camera pictures -happy with the storage space I got (64) -apps run fine, phone isn't glitchy in any other areas -speakers work great -no other issues than the ones mentioned. The phone is in good working conditions. It came with a few scratches near the bottom edges. Screen is intact, though. Phone has some background shade of the main screen which can be seen even when viewing other pages; no biggie, but main screen always shows a pinkish hue. Phone battery is well. Phone is fast and images and pictures are great. At some point when I first got it, it was making some weird noise/buzzing -sounded like an electric razor- but it stopped and has never made it again. Great phone for the price
One can't say enough good things about the camera! it's beyond excellent. The phone itself wasn't terribly different from my S4, but enough so that it took me a couple of days to get used to it. It was only a smidge larger than my S4 which was one of the selling points to me. The only problem was with the notifications. I had a heck of a time getting them to work the way I wanted them to. Nice phone so far.
Haven't activated the phone yet but it is very nice from what I've observed thus far. I've had earlier galaxy phones and have been pleased with them. The edge design is nice and the screen resolution is excellent. I'm sure it will provide me with good service when I replace my old phone with the Galaxy 6.
